Janet Naidenova is the New Chairman of Bulgarian Web Association

10.02.2005, Sofia. Mrs. Janet Naidenova, leading marketologist within Bulgarian and international Web space, Manager of "JNN Consult" marketing consultancy company, is the new Chairman of Bulgarian Web Association (www.bwa.bg).

She was elected on 27 January 2005 on a regular session of the Board of Directors (BD) and took the position by the former Chairman Petko Karamotchev. The election was carried out in compliance with the Rules of the Association.

The election of the new Chairman was officially announced on 3 February on the traditional meeting of the Web branch in "Gramophone" club.

The new Chairman expressed her gratitude for the trust and confirmed her position for continuity. She said that she hopes she would justify this trust and will join to BWA ideas all members, including the new ones, who wish to make efforts for improvement of the conditions and quality of Web business in Bulgaria.

"This year our efforts will be focused on further structuring of the Association, aiming at better affectivity of the working groups; we will continue to attract new members and to popularize the Association not only within the branch, but also in the society as a whole" said she before the all those present, and added: "BWA is a young amalgamation with a big development potential! We will plan the short- and long-term goals of Bulgarian Web Association, and in the beginning of the spring we will announce the programme for its development. We will preserve the continuity of the Association activities, as are the planning, organisation, carrying out and popularising of the third edition of the International Web Festival "Albena 2005", which is being organised jointly by Television World Foundation and BWA within the framework of the International Media Events, and of the seventh consecutive edition of the national competition "BG Site 2005", which since the last year is already a part of BWA activity".
